We keep it cozy with small groups, so your child gets the attention they need. Within our class sessions, our weekly themes are incorporated within learning centers where we turn everyday stuff into exciting lessons, making every moment a chance to discover and learn.

Meet Your Teacher:
Ms. Kari!
Hi! I'm Ms. Kari, and for as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a teacher. I have experience as a preschool teacher for more than 12 years. I have my bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Education and my Master's Degree in Special Education- Social and Emotional Behaviors. I have worked in NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) accredited daycares and an inclusion center for children with behavior and emotional disabilities.
I currently live in Maryland with my husband and daughter. When my daughter was born, I was fortunate to be able to stay home with her. I quickly realized that my experiences helped me as I work with her at different stages of child development - emotional, cognitive, fine/gross motor skills, social skills.
I continue to review new learning strategies, techniques, and modifications to stay relevant to the current education research. My online preschool gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge and ideas with you and help you as your kids grow.
Now, I get to teach YOUR child and share the love of learning to them! I can't wait!

You can choose from a variety of our preschool classes to better accommodate your family’s schedule. Whether you want your child to attend 2, 3, or 5 days/week at preschool, (or even AM or PM) we have a class for you!

When should I register my child?
It’s never too early to register, so call as soon as you even think about registering, because our classes fill up ridiculously fast!
When does the session begin? Can I enroll mid-session?
The Fall session begins September 10th. If we have spots available, you can enroll mid-session. Please reach us at kari@karingadventurespreschool.com to see if we have any spots available.
How old does my child need to be to attend?
Preschool classes are for children who are ages 3-5 by Sep. 1.
Do parents/caregivers need to be present in the classroom?
You do not need to be present in the classroom during class time, but you need to stay inside of the building. You need to make a phone call, schedule an appointment, or simply you need to take a moment for yourself, no problem. The 3rd-grade classroom will be available for you to wait in there as well.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
No, but be aware that the teacher will not be able to change or assist them in the bathroom if they do have an accident. If you have any questions or want any tips for feedback to have your child be potty train, don't hesitate to ask. We are here to help you in any way.
What is your teaching philosophy?
We follow a “whole child” philosophy where we work with you to improve your child’s Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical skills. we believe that children’s learning is enhanced through play. Play-based learning allows children to explore new concepts and at the same time keeps them engaged to focus on the essential Pre-K skills they need for their future education. Encouraging their ideas and fostering individual creativity shows positive feedback for them during their preschool years. Early Childhood Education and providing effective strategies are key to making sure each child is successful no matter where they are in their learning. Your child will be engaging in developmental-appropriate activities and be introduced a little bit to the programs Handwriting Without Tears and ABC Bootcamp. Your child will learn to socialize, make friends, develop social and emotional skills, and be more than ready for Kindergarten!
Are there additional fees during each session?
No. There are no additional fees during a session.
Do you have sibling discount rates?
No.
What if my child has food restrictions?
No worries. Please make sure to fill out the section in the registration form if your child has allergies. Even though during class time there will be no snack time, we may enjoy a special treat here and there. We ask these families to bring in their own snacks, and we create nut-free classrooms any time a child’s allergy is severe enough to require an epi pen.
Is my child able to eat in the classroom during class time? Will they have snack time?
There will be no snack time during class due to the limited time. The children will not be allowed to eat in the classroom during the class time. There will be times when we will share a special treat with the whole class and you will be notified when this will occur.
Is there a registration fee?
No.
What is your Cancelation Policy?
If you find yourself needing to cancel your payments for the Pre-K Explorers Class, we want you to know that it will be prorated. While we're here to support you through any changes, we genuinely hope that circumstances allow you to continue with us. Our class is a special journey, and we'd love for you to share it with us.
How many students do you have per class?
We will limit class sizes so your child gets lots of 1-on-1 time. We will only enroll 12 students.
